This role involves building, restoring, and renovating structures using various masonry techniques and materials. The Brick Mason will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality craftsmanship in all projects.Requirements– Build walls, walkways, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and stones.
– Restore and renovate existing masonry structures to maintain their integrity and appearance.
– Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
– Apply caulking materials as needed for weatherproofing and sealing.
– Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with local building codes.
– Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.Qualifications
– Proven experience in masonry work with a portfolio of completed projects.
– Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
– Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment related to masonry work.
– Knowledge of caulking techniques for effective sealing of joints.
– Strong physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
– Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
