Generally, employees are expected to work three or more days in-office each week with flexibility depending on their business, client and team needs.Job Description:WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU:As the Associate Director, Public Fixed Income (Total Return) you will be working within our fixed income team and closely with our treasury team. The Associate Director will be primarily responsible for supporting our Canadian money market operations including cash management, money market/repo trading and margining.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Be responsible for monitoring of capital markets with specific emphasis on money market, fixed income and foreign exchange markets.Provide support for fixed income, money market, repo and/or foreign exchange trading and ticketing. Eventually assist in the trading of money market and repo.Be responsible for supporting our margining and collateral management activities including communications with our external counterparties/broker/dealer and custodians.Liaise daily with clients including Sun Life, to understand cash and investment requirements.Assist in the maintenance of data quality and in the development and production of analytical reports within Blackrock Aladdin and various data marts.Support marketing and client relationship activities including the provision and review of relevant data, presentations, commentaries and client solutions.Utilize and enhance our technological resources to drive quantitative reviews of exposures, ongoing analysis of portfolio positions and returns attribution.Participate in related projects and internal initiatives as assigned and support the contracting process that supports the business.WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:3+ years analyst experience in fixed income, money markets, FX markets, and/or risk.Undergraduate degree in finance, economics or business is preferred but not required.Preference for a CFA charter holder (or a willingness to work toward this designation).Strong computer skills especially with VBA, Excel, MS Access, Aladdin and/or Bloomberg.Experience in coding and technological proficiencies would be considered assets.Good understanding of fundamental investment analysis.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Why SLC Management?

It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
