Job Description: Requisition ID: 32845Six Pints Collective is currently searching for an Assistant Brand Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, this role will support the development of the brand plans for Trou du Diable for the Quebec region. The successful candidate will also have ownership over elements of the plan’s execution, including responsibility for discrete marketing initiatives. As a key member of the brand marketing team this individual will be instrumental in building extraordinary brands and enabling the business to deliver against our short and long-term objectives. This role also offers the potential to develop within the marketing function within Six Pints, with future opportunities also available within the broader Molson Coors business.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:You will support the brand management of the Trou de DiableIn this role you will be responsible for:

  • Event Activation Delivery
  • Manage event activation strategy & campaign integration (inclusive of Brand Homes) including media, PR and briefs
  • Execute the event activation calendar (and possibly manage external agency), budget and phasing

Asset Management & Support

  • Management of the brand’s suite of always on tools to ensure they remain valid, up-to-date, and correctly reflect the brand and the brand’s strategy – ensuring correct and consistent application of brand guidelines.
  • Scope to include POS (retail and OP), sales sheets, samples, toolkits, photography, online and coordination with Brand Homes.

Insight Development & Discovery

  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative sources to create evidence-based insights that help focus brand planning and activation, identifying opportunities for future growth / innovation.

Performance & Analytics

  • Monitor and review sales tracking and marketing data, providing commentary and insight (requiring further analysis and coordination with insights / sales as required) on brand / competitive performance.
  • Use this insight to identify and prioritize the issues and opportunities facing the brand.

Budget Management

  • Active management of the Brand’s marketing budget, ensuring spend is being correctly tracked and forecasted, enabling efficient use of funds and reallocation as required.
  • Requires close collaboration with colleagues in marketing, customer sales teams, brand homes and finance.

Team Dynamics

  • Work with other parts of the Six Pints and broader MCC marketing teams to deliver brand plans as required and attend quarterly town halls
  • Mentor/mentee opportunities are also available

This role will also play a key supporting role in:

  • Brand Planning – using insights to determine the brand objectives for the year and, in collaboration with brand homes, sales, production, agencies etc. develop a tactical plan to achieve these objectives.
  • Innovation – working collaboratively across the business to create innovation concepts and then take this through the development process to launch.
  • Content calendar – coordinate all brand communications and activity, external and internal to ensure integrated, through-the-line execution and consistent messaging to consumers and customers.
  • Digital Activation – working collaboratively to support digital / social / website / CRM / content creative to align with Brand, Brand Home and Direct-To-Consumer objectives
  • Customer Activation – working with colleagues in sales and customer sales teams to bring our brands to life with customers in retail and on-premise channels.

IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU:Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years brand marketing experience.
  • Experience in alcohol/beverage or packaged good preferred.
  • Additional agency and/or sales experience considered an asset.

Education

  • University degree required – preferably with marketing focus or subsequent marketing professional development.

  • Consumer and market orientation, supported by curiosity to uncover insights.
  • Strong analytical skills (using both qualitative and quantitative sources).
  • Results oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, including effective team-working.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and work effectively within timelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of business fundamentals and the commercial drivers of business performance.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills – with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Passion for or desire to learn more about beer and craft beer.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.

Other requirements

  • G license and access to a personal vehicle is required.
  • Travel will be required for this position.
