These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment, you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager’s requirements for the Project you are assigned to.This is for a Procurement Project Manager. The successful candidate will be required to manage several Statements of Work including service and construction. They will need to have strong contract management experience and be able to read contracts and engage with vendors. They will be consulting and advising a number of parties.Must Haves (please read the requirements below):Experience supporting the analysis and execution of vendor contract deliverables, including change management (RFCs, Change Orders), including writing content and providing adviceProject managementVendor managementPublic Sector experience.Manage the administration of existing contractsManage the execution of Service Requests for new services from vendorsManage the processing of project & contract change requestsManage the overall change process including obtaining vendor quotations and facilitating the required approvalsSupport project managers in the execution of procurements and change orders with vendorsLook after Ministry’s interests from Legal, privacy and public image perspectives in procurements and contractsPrepare briefing notes, conduct vendor meetings and liaison with other procurement and legal departments as per the needAs needed, independently manage, and executecomplete procurements life cycleSkillsExperience and Skill Set RequirementsMANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:(1) Financial and Accounting Skills:Demonstrated experience in financial management of projects involving various financial areas: financial analysis on performance, trends analysis, forecasts and risks.(2) Vendor, Procurement, and Contract ManagementExperience supporting the analysis and execution of vendor contract deliverables, including change management (RFCs, Change Orders), including writing content and providing advice(3) Project Management Skills-Demonstrated experience identifying issues and managing risk of large complex projects. Further, providing oversight on integrated plans to ensure the successful delivery of 3rd party vendor contracts(4) Communication and Relationship Management:Interacting directly with ministry clients, business partners, and project team members to develop and maintain strong ongoing relationships, always looking for opportunities to improve client satisfactionManaging deliverables and dependencies that cross multiple in-flight projectsSupporting the PSRN Program by proactively identifying, communicating, and managing multi-faceted client-facing risks and issues to deliver a superior customer service experience and to support efficient and effective project delivery.Interacting directly with ministry clients, business partners, and project team members to develop and maintain strong ongoing relationships, always looking for opportunities to improve client satisfactionDeveloping and presenting ministry-specific dashboards, reports, and other project management collateralProactively identifying risks and issues pertaining to the assigned work package, report them to the overall Project Champions and the Portfolio Team. Experience of large and complex projects with over $500 Million budget.Demonstrated experience of working with multiple stakeholders in a broader public sector (BPS) environment. Experience of projects involving, network design, civil structures, user equipment distribution and operations. Communication and Relationship Management:
- Interacting directly with vendor, ministry clients, business partners, and project team members to develop and maintain strong ongoing relationships, always looking for opportunities to improve client satisfaction.
