They are currently looking to add an Android Software Development Engineer to their in-house product team on a temporary, contract basis.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Android Developer will be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Android Dependency upgrades and maintenance
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure best practices are followed

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in Android app development with a strong portfolio of published apps.
• Proficiency in Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices and design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Room-Dao, Jetpack Compose, Google Maps SDK
• Experience upgrading entire android projects to latest versions and dependencies.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
