Job Description: Job Description:Our client, a renowned organization, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Analyst, Financial Reporting to join the team. This is a unique opportunity to bring your field-tested knowledge of financial operations to an established corporate setting for a 4 month contract, in a hybrid environment (4 days in office; Vancouver, BC).Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the compilation of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes. Ensure all General Ledger and consolidation tasks are completed.
• Scrutinize a high volume of journal entries that range from cash-related, other assets, prepaid and amortization, to more intricate leasing and financial records.
• Keep updated and highly detailed working papers along with external reporting financial statements while adhering to US GAAP standards.
• Be responsible for creating and reviewing sets of financial documents, as well as updating financial notes meant for external reporting purposes on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Play a supportive role in the initiation and implementation of business advancements and process automation initiatives.

Requirements:Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience in technical accounting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, primarily US GAAP.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications.
• Target-driven and detail-oriented.
• Able to work on a tight schedule.
