Chrono is a Quebec-based airline offering planes that can accommodate between 9 and 120 passengers, exclusively for charter flights. With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono continues its expansion, reinforcing its position as a leader in the charter flight industry in Quebec and Canada.Role and ContextThe Accounts Payable Technician is responsible for managing supplier invoices and associated payments. They ensure that invoices are compliant with purchase orders and that payments are processed efficiently and accurately. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, they play a key role in account reconciliation and participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes. This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to quickly resolve billing and payment issues.Key responsibilities
- Verify and process supplier invoices within the set deadlines.
- Reconcile supplier accounts with monthly statements.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Follow up on payment authorizations and purchase orders.
- Prepare supplier payments via cheque, transfer, or other payment methods.
- Keep accounting records up to date and well-organized.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Identify and propose improvements to accounting processes for increased efficiency.
- Adhere to internal procedures and accounting closing deadlines.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the financial controller.

Specific job requirements
- College diploma (DEC) in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (accounts payable or accounting).
- Knowledge of accounting management systems (ERP) and office tools (Excel, Word).
- Mastery of account reconciliation and payment procedures.
- Experience managing supplier relationships.
- Understanding of accounting principles and audits.
- Ability to suggest improvements to financial processes.
- Fluency in French is required for this position.
