Job Description: We are in need of a senior accounting manager who has experience in real estate development and property management who enjoys a wide variety of responsibilities across multiple companies.You would be working with the property management administrator, construction managers, and external accountants. This hands-on position is located in the downtown Victoria area with Urban Core Ventures, a property investment and development company.Qualifications:

• For the right candidate, this position involves assisting with development of financial feasibility projections for new projects, interpreting lenders requirements;
• Assisting lenders with their due diligence, budgeting, cost to complete project progress reporting for the quantity surveyor; Recording inter-company activity, preparing payroll, payables, receivables – primarily through pre-authorized debits, compliance reporting (GST, WCB, T5018s, PST, source deductions, corporate tax instalments);
• CAM reconciliations for the rental buildings and reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards and mortgages.
• You would also prepare management reports for the owner.

There would be a transitional training period to facilitate a smooth transition for all involved.
