Job Description: ShareTop JobLocated in Ottawa, ONSalary: $30.00 – $35.00Our client, a commercial HVAC contractor located in the east end, is currently looking for a temporary Accounting Assistant for a 3-month contract to assist with day-to-day accounting responsibilities. The main areas of focus will be entering and processing payroll as well as billing and accounts payable.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Enter and process payroll
• Assist with billings
• Enter invoices – AP
• General accounting support where needed
• Assist with various projects
• Other administrative duties as required

Credentials:

• 1-2 years’ experience in an accounting role
• Experience working with QuickBooks Online is a must
• Completion of an Accounting Diploma considered an asset
• Excellent written and oral communication in English
• Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Excel (sort, filters, basic formulas, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work in a team environment
