If you can still see this post, we are still hiring!Fountain Tire Vancouver – Marine Drive (828 SW Marine Dr) is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated 3rd/4th Year Apprentice Automotive Service Technician to join our team!Salary: $27 – $33 /hour (based on experience) and you may be eligible for a signing bonus of $2,000!What each day will bring:

• Something different! You never know what kind of vehicle or tire you may be required to work on
• Challenging mechanical repairs and diagnosis with excellent guidance from our master technicians to hone and perfect your skills!

You could be inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing passenger or light truck tires/wheels * Everything from tire work to general maintenance to diagnostics to repairs, you’ll see it allAmazing customers to impress with your professional and friendly customer serviceThe responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safePride in the work you’ve done keeping your customers safe and on the road!What kind of person are we looking for?

• An Automotive Service Technician Apprentice
• Minimum of 5 years mechanical hands-on experience
• Someone who is always willing to learn and try new things

This work can unpredictable, physical, wet etc and we need someone who will be up for the challengeAble to mount and balance tires of different sizesSkilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service and repairExcellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem solvingExperience and strong awareness of working in a safety-focused environmentValid driver’s licenseStrong personal commitment to health and safetyTeam player who is professional and organizedWhat is in it for you?
