Location: Ottawa, ON

Job Description: Ottawa branch of leading Canadian instrument calibration company is looking for a Senior Calibration Technician on a full time basis.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a senior calibration person, use and improve calibration and repair procedures.
• Test equipment and do data reporting.
• Duties and knowledge as outlined in Requirements below.
• Travel as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Electronics or electrical program graduate.
• Several years working in electronics repair, preferably in a calibration company or laboratory setting, alone or in a team.
• Proficiency in conducting calibrations with various calibration measurement tools and equipment.
• Familiar with Micrometer, Calipers, Straight Edge, Length Standards, Gauge Blocks, Height Gauges,
• Torque, Temperature, and tension measurements, RF NS Microwave procedures.
• Able to travel to customer sites for on site work but primarily in lab location in Ottawa.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, organizational, time management skills, with attention to detail.
• MatCal, LabView, VBA.
