Job Description: Job Description:We are seeking, on behalf of our client, an engineering firm, a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset to help grow the team. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, along with business development skills.Reporting to the President and working closely with the Geotechnical Team Leader, the engineer will be responsible for overseeing and conducting geotechnical studies for a diverse clientele, including industrial and commercial companies, private clients, municipalities, and government agencies.Responsibilities:

• Leverage your geotechnical expertise to support the team in developing service proposals, emphasizing the excellence of the proposed solutions;

• Provide technical supervision of project managers and ensure adherence to procedures;

• Implement solutions based on soil and material investigations;

• Conduct geotechnical studies according to current standards to evaluate bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction potential, slope stability, road structure, dam stability, etc.;

• Prepare high-quality technical reports and reviews.

RequirementsRequirements:

• Member of the Order of Engineers;

• Minimum 15 years of experience;

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, or a related field;

• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong interest in business development;

• Outgoing personality with leadership qualities;

• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities;

• Initiative, responsibility, and attention to detail;

• Team-oriented mindset;

• Natural curiosity and a commitment to workplace health and safety;

• Valid driver’s license and ASP Construction certification.

Assets:

• Bilingual (French and English), both oral and written;

• Master’s degree in geotechnical engineering.
