Job Description: Job Description:The Opportunity:This is a great opportunity to join our Buildings Mechanical & Electrical team in role where you are responsible for modeling, drafting, design and site review of mechanical and electrical systems for building projects in the public and private sector. • Operate AutoCAD and/or Revit to prepare engineering drawings.
• Assist with the design of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Coordinate with the project team, external vendors, engineers and architects.
• Execute directions as provided by engineers and management.
• Gather appropriate resources in order to assist in problem solving.
• Occasional local travel will be required depending on project-specific requirements.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

• Related Engineering or Architectural Technology diploma.
• 3+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD
• Basic knowledge and understanding of building codes and standards.
• Competent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.

To qualify for this role, you must be eligible for Canadian Federal Government Enhanced Reliability clearance.
