Job Description: Position: Payroll Administrator
Location: Downtown Montreal (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Salary: $90,000-$95,000 (Based on experience)
Job Type: 6-month contractPosition Overview:Our client a leader within the legal industry is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be ensure accurate and efficient payroll management for all members of our clients firm. In addition to handling payroll operations, you may also contribute to a system change project.Main Requirements:– At least 3 years of experience
– Proficiency in French, both written and spoken
– Meticulous, well-organized, with strong time management skills
– Payroll designation (an asset)
– Experience using UKG (an asset)Main Responsibilities:– Prepare and process payroll cycles for all members of the firm
– Ensure the accuracy of salary calculations, deductions, and adjustments
– Ensure compliance with Quebec payroll laws and regulations, including tax filings and social contributions
– Track absences (vacation, overtime, etc.)
– Respond to payroll-related inquiries from firm members
– Collaborate with HR and accounting to ensure smooth integration of payroll data and resolve any issues
