– Responsible for leading by example and mentoring more junior engineers.
– Leading the team’s technical strategy and delivering on excellent designs and code.
– Solving our complex technical challenges with customer obsession.
– Work and collaborate in an agile team to deliver results and meet commitments.
– Own and architect distributed, fault tolerant, highly available and scalable services.
– Assist in developing project plans and meeting on customer commitments
– Strive to constantly improve our operational practices and CI/CD practices.
– Work with other engineers to diagnose and resolve customer issues including as part of on-call rotation.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
– 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
– 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
