Job Description: Accountant – Permanent – 17635About the OpportunityOur client in the Ottawa east area is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis.This organization is within a growing sector and offers opportunity for professional growth and development, all within a dynamic, positive work culture.Duties include but are not limited to:

• High volume full-cycle processing of Accounts Payables and Receivables
• Account and credit card reconciliations
• Processing payments, preparing bank deposits
• Processing and recording of expenses
• Processing full-cycle Payroll including deductions and remittances
• Posting of journal entries
• Working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
• Assist in the production of Financial Statements
• Preparing reporting as needed
• Assisting with Month End closing
• Provide administrative support as required

About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (English essential)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
