Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Calgary, AB or Saskatoon, SK office beginning January or September 2025 for an approximate 8, 12, or 16-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position that is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.What you will do:

• Application development, unit test, and deployment of custom digital web apps hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Participate in the design, building, and maintenance of software modules
• Shadow senior developers as they evaluate technologies and design for enterprise scalability, performance, and optimization
• Build working knowledge about responsive React front ends and, leading serverless technologies (such as Lambda and DynamoDB) and micro-service-based architectures
• Actively work with other roles in an enterprise agile delivery team, including project managers, business analysts, QA, application developers, and UX/UI designers
• Work with other IT teams – such as infrastructure, cyber security, and data services/analytics
• Learn AWS, React, TypeScript, C#, Splunk, CircleCi, GitHub, Jira, and many other technologies

What you will bring:

• Completed a minimum of 2 years of a Computer Science undergraduate degree with an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term
• Curious mindset to investigate business needs or opportunities to leverage technology or digital solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills, an aptitude for problem-solving, and the ability to work in a team environment
