Job Description: Senior Accounting TechnicianOur client is seeking a competent and experienced senior accounting technician with a solid mastery of the complete accounting cycle to join their team.Responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure project-based accounting;
• Serve as the resource person for the complete payroll process;
• Prepare annual tax statements (T4, RL-1, CNESST report) and TVQ and TPS reports;
• Perform bank reconciliations and inter-account transactions;
• Produce quarterly financial reports for management;
• Collaborate with the external accounting firm for the annual financial audit.

Profile

• College diploma (DEC) in accounting;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Thorough knowledge of the complete accounting cycle;
• Experience with payroll management;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Strong ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Contract Information

• Permanent position – 35 hours per week;
• Work schedule can be spread over 4 or 5 days;
