You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our metal manufacturing facility by performing maintenance on various types of machinery. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on old machinery, including punch presses and roll form machines.
• Inspect and maintain hydraulic lines and components to ensure proper function and prevent leaks or failures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend machinery life.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and machinery conditions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with industrial machinery, particularly punch presses, roll form machines, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and work around heavy machinery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a metal manufacturing environment is an asset.
