The successful candidate will play a key role in private asset product management, including maintaining private asset pacing models, communicating with partners and assisting with the evaluation of new product opportunities.DUTIES INCLUDE:Private investments oversight – maintenance of pacing models, capacity analysis, due diligence and onboarding of potential new investments, use or private asset database, coordination with internal and external stakeholders and reporting.Collaboration with private asset partners on both implementation as well as monitoring product development and trends.Investment operations support: ensuring adherence to internal policies; in partnership with compliance, legal, sub-advisors and others within IG Investments.Supporting the preparation of presentation materials to senior management and key IGM partners.Maintenance of private asset inventory and other product management duties.Provide problem solving support and analysis for various strategic topics.QUALIFICATIONS:Post-secondary business degree (B. Comm.) and desire to pursue CFA designation (minimum level 1 completed).5+ years’ experience in a mutual fund/investment-oriented environment. Experience with private markets would be an asset.Demonstrated proficiency in PC applications including Excel and PowerPoint. This includes the ability to create and produce presentations and reports using the most up to date technology.
