Title of the Job: HR Generalist

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Job Description: Job Description:We are in search of an HR Generalist to join a team in the South End of Winnipeg as a permanent employee. You have the option to be Hybrid if you choose with working 2-3 days/ week in office. As an HR Generalist, you will be tasked with various responsibilities that span the entire recruitment cycle, including job posting, onboarding and training. You will also be involved in offboarding activities, HR record maintenance, and assist in the creation and revision of job descriptions and HR policies.Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing potential candidates

• Administer onboarding activities including, but not limited to, new hire paperwork and initiating pre-employment checks

• Manage offboarding procedures, including scheduling exit interviews and finalizing employee departure

• Maintain and update HR and Quality related records, including payroll reporting and HR payroll systems

• Assist in the development and maintenance of job descriptions and training requirement records

• Provide back-up support to the payroll and benefits supervisor

• Revise HR policies, forms, and procedures as required

• Assist with office-related functions

• Undertake any other HR related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Applicant Tracking Systems (JazzHR)

• Skills in Auditing and conducting Background Checks

• Experience in Full Cycle Recruiting and Benefits Payroll

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field is preferred

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes

• Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position.
