Then this opportunity, as a Functional Data and Reporting Analyst, may be a great fit.Reporting to the Manager, Business Support Services, the Functional Analyst acts as a key point of contact and subject matter expert bridging data management, reporting, and configuration of systems changes between Shared Services and Enterprise systems and applications.Duties

• Participate and collaborate with Business and Technical teams in system upgrades, the design and development of new modules and/or processes, and the implementation of new solutions that will enhance business processes and user experience.
• Investigate and analyze data requests to determine expected outcomes, business/stakeholder requirements, and the best method for generating and accessing the information.
• Develop SQL queries to extract data and maintain dashboards using data visualization tools.
• Consult and/or collaborate with other subject matter experts and business units & IST, Analytics and Institutional Research (PAIR), and Programmers/Developers as appropriate.
• Inform the identification of key performance indicators that can support the measurement and monitoring of business performance toward strategic goals.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including business process flows, system specifications, and training materials.

Minimum Qualifications

• Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Computing Science or Management Information Systems.
• Minimum 3 years as a Data or Reporting Analyst.
• Experience with ERP Applications.
• Expertise in PeopleSoft Application functionality and knowledge of the technical components and data structures of the application.
• The ability to communicate effectively, and collaborate with business users/stakeholders.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, managing time and resources effectively to achieve results, effectively focusing on workload.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the post-secondary environment is an asset.
• Knowledge of developing reports/dashboards in Data Visualization tools (such as Tableau, and PowerBI).
• Experience working in Data conversion/clean-up projects related to ERP, for medium to large organizations.
• Knowledge of PSQuery, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, XML, SQL, HTML/Javascript, and Adobe products are assets.
• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Proven organizational change management skills.
