This position requires the successful candidate to live and work in the Okanagan, with occasional office visits throughout the week. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated lawyer who excels in practice management and thrives in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities:

• Handle a full caseload of litigation files independently, including examinations for discovery, applications, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior legal counsel for mentorship on complex cases.
• Maintain excellent client communication and deliver high-quality legal work.
• Exercise discretion and good judgment in sensitive and confidential matters.

Qualifications:

• Member of the BC Bar in good standing.
• Legally entitled to practice law in Canada.
• 7-12 years of litigation experience
• Proven ability to manage a caseload from start to finish with little supervision.
• Previous trial experience is an asset.
• Strong skills in negotiation, interpersonal communication, and legal drafting.
• Excellent client service orientation and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and provide clear direction to others.
