As the Operational Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive the hospital’s operational efficiency, ensure the highest standards of patient care, and support the strategic objectives of the organization.Job Summary: We are seeking an Operational Manager to oversee and enhance the hospital’s operations, ensure the effective implementation of strategic plans, and maintain high levels of patient satisfaction. The role involves planning, monitoring, and optimizing various hospital processes.Hours: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: $60,000 – $90,000 (USD) per annum / £46,000 – £69,000 (GBP) per annum + Quarterly Bonuses based on achieved targetsPlanning & Monitoring Process:

  • Contribute to the development and promotion of the hospital’s general vision, aims, and strategic objectives.
  • Assist top management in setting and cascading targets across all hospital departments, ensuring they are based on historical data and applicable medical behavior forecasting.
  • Aid department heads, quality assurance, pharmacy, infection control, safety, and medical care committees in setting and achieving objectives for improving medical care quality and resource utilization.
  • Ensure that targets and tasks distributed by each line manager to their subordinates align with hospital policies, guidelines, overall strategic plan targets, and the core function of each section.
  • Analyze all services and offers, whether ongoing or proposed, against the strategic plan.
  • Review progress and activity reports from all hospital managers or staff, assess operational effectiveness, and determine necessary improvements and corrective actions.

Operation Excellence Process:

  • Encourage specialty-specific improvements by increasing the profit earned from each physician and direct efforts to expand the number of accounts per department based on historical data and company strategy to increase market share.
  • Promote building a stable, well-trained, and supportive workforce according to plans.
  • Resolve all conflicts across hospital functions, ensuring settlements align with policy and the hospital’s best interests.
  • Take disciplinary actions based on issue type and in accordance with hospital policy and Egyptian laws.
  • Manage all emergency issues and resolve them according to criticality.

Customer Satisfaction Process:

  • Monitor and ensure a consistently high level of patient satisfaction across all hospital departments and sections, including ER, Inpatient and ICU, OPD, etc.
  • Retain patients by handling medical patient complaints and reducing DAMA for medical and financial reasons.
  • Address complicated patient complaints regarding medical and non-medical concerns.
  • Ensure high levels of patient and relative satisfaction by applying ethical and correct medical practices.
  • Ensure all patients and their relatives are aligned and consent with medical choices and procedures taken.

Criteria:

  • Medical Degree and Master’s Level and above.
  • 3-8 years in a management position at a medical facility.
  • Master’s Degree Level and up.
  • Healthcare management certificates or equivalent.
