Job Description: As I’m preparing to transition back to work after maternity leave, my husband and I are in need of a helping hand. My husband owns his own pet-care business with fluctuating hours and while he’ll be staying home with her primarily, we’re looking for some support so he could still accomodate long-term regular clients. Our need for child care won’t adhere to a strict schedule, which we understand isn’t always ideal, but we’re hoping to find someone willing to adapt to our flexible arrangements. I work remotely three days a week, allowing a certain level of flexibility on those days, but Tuesdays and Wednesdays I work onsite, so those days we would appreciate the most support. Our little one just turned one and is pretty easy going- she hasn’t hit her picky phase yet, so she loves to eat, and enjoys just puttering around the house playing and “reading” her books. Duties would be playing with her, providing occasional meals, and taking her out for short walks or to the nearby park. We’re big animal people and have two dogs (1 medium and 1 small) and 4 cats. The dogs are VERY friendly, and the cats range from friendly to entirely disinterested in strangers, so someone who is comfortable around animals and/or doesn’t have allergies is obviously a must.
