Job Description: Job Summary:The Coordinator, Technical Operations contributes to the efficient day-to-day operations of the department by supporting all of the managers, director and VP. This includes by-weekly payroll submissions, manpower scheduling, vacation planning and organizing meetings. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for time tracking, payroll and vacation schedules for all maintenance employees
- Responsible for correspondence for the maintenance department
- Maintain complete paper and electronic files for all maintenance employees
- External manpower processing and invoicing with third party vendors/suppliers
- Arrange travel and accommodations
- Filing and tracking of maintenance contracts
- Arrange job interviews
- Onboarding of all new employees to the department
- Process departmental mail
- Arrange catering services upon request
- Arrange onsite/offsite department events
- Ordering of office supplies and administration of inventory
- Ensure employee contact list is kept up to date
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education or one year of equivalent experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Documents * Positive track record of working relationships with others, both internally and externally.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to resolve problems, and make decisions to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Ability to undertake self-directed tasks
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail; the capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency
