Job Description: Your Opportunity:Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Security Systems within Protective Services, the Systems Coordinator is responsible for providing advanced technical expertise for AHS Physical Security Systems including CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm technologies. The work involves advanced understanding of integrated physical security systems for all AHS Healthcare Facilities. Technical Support and Business Solutions: Provides advanced technical support to deliver physical security system specific solutions. Identifies technology requirements for solutions, reviews, evaluates options, and pricing, liaises with external agencies, guides vendors and business partners, makes purchase recommendations and coordinates all aspects of implementation. Investigates escalated and complex problems to identify the root cause of security system issue(s). Collaborates with clients and stakeholders to conduct an in-depth analysis in order to determine the scope and full impact of the problem. Formulates and implements resolutions by making decisions on the best course of action considering feasibility, business requirements, technical requirements and operational needs (e.g. modifies and enhances integration between systems). Makes recommendations about new approaches, system optimization, future requirements, best practices and processes. Evaluates system change impact, leads the implementation process and ensures stakeholders are notified of the resolution. Vendor Management: Manages relationship with the vendor to coordinate problem resolution by recommending and evaluating solutions.Description:As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.

Required Qualifications:Completion of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred. Minimum 2 year Diploma in Information Technology, Electronics or related field from a recognized Institution. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Physical Security Technologies such as CCTV, Card Access and Alarm Integration at an Enterprise Level. Professional Memberships. ASET Membership with CET eligibility. ASIS Membership with CPP eligibility. SIA Membership with CSPM eligibility. Note: This position requires a vehicle for business use. Preferred Qualifications:Enterprise Level experience and training in physical security systems within a Health Care Environment preferred, within a large organization is required. Intermediate to advance level experience and knowledge of MS Office Suite of software applications.
