Job Description: Job Description:Join our team as a Geospatial Technical Lead to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between IT and business operations. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and operations of new and existing geospatial applications, working closely with internal teams and external partners. If you are someone who approaches work with passion, curiosity, and the courage to innovate, then this role is for you.What You Get to Do:Oversee all technical aspects of ATCO’s Geospatial applications, including:

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Influence and execute the Integration Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) strategy
• Define project technical requirements, build business cases, and participate in the selection of service implementers/providers.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure code quality meets minimum requirements.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with industry best practices and can be supported effectively.
• Manage backlog of enhancements and release schedules.
• Oversee and facilitate third-party vendors and service providers.
• Lead and guide interrelated geospatial activities.
• Define and enforce coding, error, and application monitoring standards.
• Escalate project risks and vendor concerns to IT and Business leadership.
• Communicate effectively across all areas of the organization.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical release consultation.
• Assist the team in troubleshooting technical challenges.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance geospatial and technical capabilities
• Maintain an understanding of the overall geospatial landscape.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in geospatial applications
• Proven ability to lead technical teams.
• Strong understanding of overall IT architecture
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical terms to non-IT stakeholders.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS; and Hexagon G/Technology is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
