Join our Data Centre of Excellence as a Data Analytics Developer and play a key role in optimizing data models and building cutting-edge data pipelines that drive business success. If you’re passionate about harnessing data to create innovative solutions and enhance analytics capabilities, we want you to apply!In this role, reporting to the Manager of the Analytics Capability Centre, you will focus on expanding and refining our data models and pipeline architecture. You’ll leverage your expertise in data pipeline building and wrangling to enhance data systems from the ground up, determining the best strategies for implementing improvements to infrastructure and processes. Your efforts will directly contribute to optimizing data flow and collection across teams, ensuring the highest standards of data delivery.Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Designing and maintaining data pipelines and analytics workflows, combining raw information from diverse sources to support defined business data products.
- Analyzing and organizing raw data, preparing it for prescriptive and predictive modeling, while building algorithms that deliver business value.
- Evaluating business needs, enhancing data quality, and designing analytical tools to support our data services.
- Monitoring pipeline operations, conducting complex data analysis, and collaborating with data scientists and analysts on various projects.
- Coaching and mentorship team members, fostering a client-centric approach and encouraging innovative solutions.
- Working closely with senior management to support a cultural shift toward data as a strategic asset and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- A related university degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business), supplemented by at least four (4) years of related experience. Equivalencies may be considered.
- Relevant industry experience working with datatools and data platforms.
- Experience with building and optimizing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipelines.
Assets:
- Familiarity ETL tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, DBT, etc.
- Familiarity with datatools and platforms, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, Hadoop, Databricks, Azure Synapse, etc.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in data modeling
- Knowledge and understanding of container technologies, like Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience with version control systems like Git to manage codebase and collaborate with team members.
- Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS, etc.
Equivalencies are:
