Join us now and give your career a home.Builder Sales MgrMontreal, QC/ Full-time (On-Site)Pay rate $92,166 – $122,888Your responsibilitiesBuilder Sales Manager (BSM) will work towards establishing relationships and generating new business with builders, contractors, designers, architects and other key specifiers in defined markets. The BSM will work to coordinate efforts between themselves and the BSH Sales Organization. Working together, the primary focus is to grow and expand Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau brands with key market influencers including architects, designers, cabinetry companies, builders and key dealers. BSM will coordinate the process of establishing agreements with both regional key builder accounts as well as key national builder accounts. The BSM will support the regional BSH showrooms through scheduled “Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau Experiences” with their clients.

  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the builder segment. Execute sales plans, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at builder companies. Act as the main point of contact for builders, contractors, and developers, addressing their needs and providing product information and support.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to effectively position and sell products to builders.
  • Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to builders, showcasing the value and benefits of the company’s products. Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with builders to secure profitable contracts. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during contract negotiations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to provide feedback from builders and contribute to the development of marketing strategies and product enhancements.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and results to management. Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the development of sales budgets and targets.
  • Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by addressing builder inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely and accurate information.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new builder trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use findings to develop targeted sales strategies and recommendations.
  • Industry Events and Networking: Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build relationships, generate leads, and stay informed about industry developments.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (Sales related fields) – Required
  • 5-7 Years of Experience (Trade focused experience) – Required
  • Working proficiency in French Required
  • Experience in the home building industry, including extensive knowledge and expertise within the custom/upscale appliance segment
  • Proven track record of developing and driving profitable revenue growth
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results with in the Builder Channel
  • Customer driven & focused (Internal & External)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Change Agent, Performance Management, Drive for Results, Teamwork, Diversity/Inclusiveness, Customer Focus
  • Understanding the different dynamics of the “Luxury” appliance Arena, who influences and who specifiers
  • Experience in the management and development of the custom/upscale appliance market
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Valid Passport
  • Domestic Travel and some possible cross border travel by car, airplane, train, etc. – includes overnight and occassional weekends.
  • Normal office equipment; e.g., computer, copier, fax machine, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Travel Percentage – 50%
