Title of the Job: Estimator / Estimateur

Location: Montreal, QC

Job Description:  Daily monitoring of tender publications
 Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor and equipment required to complete construction projects, based on
price estimates, plans and specifications
 Establish project planning (bid phase) according to plans and specifications criteria
 Invite bids from suppliers and subcontractors
 Study and analyze bids received from subcontractors and obtain the information needed to understand them properly.
 Compile data in TPL estimating software
 Follow internal bidding, checking and reporting procedures;
 maintain directories of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors;
 communicate and liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors
in the preparation of tenders;
 Any other tasks related to the position
