And we do it all with a whole lot of heart.Under the direction of the Marketing Manager the Part-Time Event and Sponsorship Coordinator will join a fast-paced marketing and sales support team. The role is responsible for implementing, supporting and coordinating PARC Events and Sponsorships both Corporate and within our PARC communities in conjunction with the local Sales and Operation teams. The role will work closely with internal staff and external contractors/suppliers such as sponsorship point-people, event leads and vendors, photographers, printers, and responsible for equipment ordering, storing and set-up.This includes:
- Being the PARC “go-to person” for events and sponsorships.
- Having an eye for photography will be an asset whether using your iPhone or a professional photographer to produce photo moments that bring the PARC brand and storytelling to life in our social campaigns.
- Ensuring Marketing has a supply of SWAG and Collateral for all events.
- Being responsible for all contract fulfillment with sponsorships and events. Following up throughout the year with event or sponsorship point people to keep all contracts up to date and executed is an extremely important part of this role.
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager to review any new requests or changes to events or sponsorships.
- Updating new and ongoing event information with sales or operations teams as needed.
- Liaising with sponsorship point people and vendors to ensure appropriate invoicing and process is followed.
- On event day, being the on-site venue representative to oversee all aspects of event set-up, show, and ensure all event needs are met while adhering to venue policies and procedures (i.e., health and safety, alcohol management, customer service)
- Developing event documentation required for each event including event details, work orders and budget allowances. Preparing post-event summaries.

- You have previously worked in an event activation environment. Marketing mindset and event coordination experience would be considered an asset.
- Having an event management certification would be considered an asset.
- You are proficient with MS Office Suite. Knowledge of Social Media platforms would be considered an asset.
- You are highly proficient with writing, editing and grammar especially for contracts and email correspondences with Event and Sponsorship point people.
- You bring superior communication skills and excellent phone etiquette.
- You work well independently and within a team environment.
- You bring strong project coordinating skills with stakeholders at all levels (including senior executives), as well as partners, event customers and point people.
- You are creative and resourceful in generating new ideas and problem-solving issues.
- You have a strong ability to manage multiple tasks on time and within budget.
- You must have a valid driver’s license. Travel to the various retirement residences and event locations if required.
- You bring curiosity and a willingness to learn and ask questions.
