Job Description: **Responsibilities: **– **Design and Development: ** Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP UI5 applications to enhance user engagement and functionality.– **Stakeholder Collaboration: ** Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into robust software solutions.– **UI Design Workshops: ** Lead workshops with customers to define and refine UI designs, leveraging tools such as Figma.– **Application Quality: ** Create and maintain high-quality SAP UI5 applications, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, and usability.– **Performance Optimization: ** Identify and resolve performance issues to optimize SAP UI5 application performance.– **Testing and Debugging: ** Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software stability and quality.– **Technical Coordination: ** Coordinate and discuss technical designs with onsite teams to ensure clarity and alignment on requirements.– **Issue Resolution: ** Collaborate with onsite/process teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project success.– **Development Oversight: ** Guide and oversee development at every stage, tracking progress and reporting on deliverables.– **Quality Reviews: ** Perform quality reviews of technical specifications, code, and testing procedures.– **Cutover Management: ** Manage and support cutover conversations, execution, and monitoring.– **Standards Compliance: ** Ensure code complies with client development standards and guidelines, including code quality and security standards.– **Technical Expertise: ** Apply hands-on development experience with SAP UI5 technologies, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, XML,ODATA and jQuery.– **Platform Support: ** Support UI5 applications across various desktop and mobile platforms.– **Development Tools: ** Utilize development tools such as SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Figma.– **Test Scripts: ** Implement and manage test scripts using OPA5 and QUNIT.– **API Integration: ** Work with RESTful APIs, including OData and SAP Gateway, for seamless integration.**Requirements: **– **Education: ** bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.– **Experience: ** 10+ years of experience with SAP UI5 and frontend development.– **Technical Skills: ** Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and web development. Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks and SAP BTP (BAS, Workzone).– **UI5 Expertise: ** In-depth technical skills in UI5, SAP Fiori Elements, SAPUI5 Smart controls, and SAP BTP Workzone.– **Fiori Launchpad: ** Well-versed in Fiori launchpad configurations and setup.– **Communication: ** Strong communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and interact directly with business stakeholders.**Preferred Skills: **– **SAP Systems Knowledge: ** Experience with SAP systems and architectures.– **Problem-Solving:** Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
