Job Description: The Byng Group is a leading interior renovation general contractor with more than 50 years’ experience and a team of over 500, specializing in high-rise rental properties.We are looking for experienced Painters to join our team in OttawaRESPONSIBILITIES

• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, hallways, shelving in Apartment Units.
• Prepares surfaces to be plastered.
• Fills in nicks and cuts in ceilings, walls, and partitions using plaster.
• Repair walls with drywall
• Sand areas after each coat making drywall paint-ready
• Drywall Repairs, Taping and Plastering
• Drywall Installation is considered an asset
• Framing with Metal Studs considered an asset

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years’ experience
• Own Tools Required. They are not supplied.
• Quality and Speed are assessed.
• Able to problem solve on-site and off-site
• Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule
