Job Description: What you’ll doReporting to the Vice President, Supply Chain Technology, the Associate Vice President, Supply Chain Technology will lead our Transportation & Order Management platform team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the IT strategy to support and enhance our supply chain capabilities and operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for managing and growing our team to achieve our organizational goals. You will be expected to create a culture of trust, respect, and open communication, where team members feel empowered to take ownership and drive their growth. You will provide guidance and support to the team, encouraging innovation, and embracing change to achieve success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for driving growth and success.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of supply chain technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and addressing concerns or issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with external vendors and internal vendor management teams to negotiate and manage contracts and ensure seamless integration of their services into our ecosystem.
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in relevant industry technologies and tools, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Lead, mentor, and build the team to deliver world-class supply chain technology solutions prioritizing the development of systems resiliency, stability, performance, and security.
  • Act as a subject mater expert for our Transportation and Order Management IT platforms.
  • Develop and manage a budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions.

What you bring

  • 10+ years’ of relevant experience in Supply Chain and Information Technology with at least 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management systems, ERP systems, and emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of Public Cloud, DevOps and CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans, while also being able to manage and execute on short-term goals.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and project management skills, including developing effective cross-organizational and vendor relationships.
