Length of Assignment: Full time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 a yearResponsibilities:

• Full cycle bookkeeping including recording & positing journal entries, reviewing trial balance, preparing adjusting entries and financial statements
• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of T1 returns, T4 slips and T5
• Write-ups
• Sales tax preparation and remittances

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in accountancy, or graduate of an accounting technical program
• Minimum 2-4 years of bookkeeping experience
• Experience using Quickbooks, SAGE, Xero
• Previous experience in an accounting firm is recommended
• Ability to work in French and English
• Ability to work on many files simultaneously with limited supervision
• Strong communication skills
