Job Description: As a English as a Second Language teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to non-native learners. You will use effective pedagogical methods to facilitate the learning of the English language, taking into account the specific needs and skill levels of the students.Location: LaSalle College MontrealStatus: Contract on call– Fall 2024 sessionSalary: Between $25 and $28 /hourRESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule lessons;
• Deliver courses in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;
• Administer and correct assessments;
• Monitor each student and encourage success;
• Be available for monthly paid teacher meetings and regular professional development opportunities offered by LAB;
• Other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be legally entitled to work in Canada;
• Hold a bachelor’s degree;
• Recognized TESL Canada certificate or equivalent;
• More than one year of full-time ESL teaching experience in Canada preferred.

This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners nationally and globally.
