Job Description: I am currently in the market for a dedicated, full-time, live-in housekeeper to assist in the upkeep and maintenance of my property. The perfect candidate for this position will have the availability to commence their duties immediately, adhering to a routine weekly timetable from Monday through to Sunday, predominantly operating during the earlier and middle parts of the day. There is no requirement for the applicant to possess a driver’s license as the need for automobile usage is neither applicable nor required in this particular home-based role. The prospective employee will be expected to take on a number of responsibilities. These duties primarily involve the general maintenance and cleaning of not only the home’s interior areas but also the immediately adjacent outdoor spaces. The successful candidate’s workload will encompass a range of kitchen duties, including but not limited to the washing of dishes and the cleaning of appliances both inside and out. Other tasks include laundry duties, meal planning, preparation and service, as well as carrying out various other household tasks. On certain special and auspicious occasions, the individual will be required to assist with the preparation and serving of food for our guests. Hence, possessing knowledge and skills in this culinary area is seen as a definite plus. Additional responsibilities include the procurement of groceries, handling household errands, overseeing the stock and supply of household commodities, and welcoming guests upon their arrival. Moreover, the aspirant will also be expected to take care of indoor plants, undertake the rotation of seasonal clothing items within the closets, maintenance of the pantry space by timely removing out-of-date and spoiled items and overseeing the house when needed. In certain circumstances, the candidate may also be called upon to hire and oversee other domestic staff members as well as coordinate and manage special events. The applicant will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in essential household skills such as ironing, bed dressing and linen changing. This important role can demand anywhere from 30 to 40 hours of work each week. It’s important to note that the primary tasks associated with this job are tied to cleaning both houses and apartments.
