The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).Position summary
The program aims to recruit 4,000 participants, men and women aged 35-79 years who are either healthy, at risk, or who have known cardiovascular disease. The program provides the technical and logistical infrastructure for collecting and maintaining biospecimens and the data and associated information derived from biological materials such as blood, body fluids, tissue samples, genomic data, microbiomic data, digital health data, and imaging studies. https://cvsignature.caWe are seeking a proactive and organized Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for participants, visitors, and staff within a clinical research environment. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations and providing comprehensive administrative support related to clinical studies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent customer service and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.General Duties

  • Greet participants, provide information to participants.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule participant’s appointments.
  • Patient Registration: Collect and verify patient information, including medical information, ensure completion of study forms.
  • Record Management: Create and maintain accurate and confidential participants’ records and assist with data entry.
  • Communication Coordination: Handle incoming calls and facilitate communication between participants and staff.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general office duties and assist clinical research staff with documentation. Prepare blood analysis labels.

Pay Scale: $34,125.00 – $51,178.40. Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
