Title of the Job: Senior Integration Developer

Job Description: Job Description:The Senior Integration Developer is key in maintaining operational excellence of system interfaces by directly supporting end users with appropriate urgency and priority, and in designing and developing new functionality to suit Seaspan’s growing needs.As a Senior Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using Microsoft Azure and Oracle Integration Cloud services. You will play a pivotal role in connecting disparate systems, enabling efficient data exchange, and optimizing business processes within our organization.Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with various teams to analyze integration requirements, gather business needs, and create integration strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using Azure and Oracle Cloud Integration services as middleware.
  • Implement data mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure data integrity and consistency during integration processes.
  • Monitor the performance of Azure-based integrations, set up alerting, and perform routine maintenance to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Identify and resolve integration issues by conducting in-depth analysis and debugging, implementing solutions to maintain the integrity of data flows.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for integration processes, APIs, and configurations to enable knowledge sharing and support.
  • Develop and execute testing plans to verify that integration solutions meet functional and performance requirements.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Azure certifications, Oracle Cloud Certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience in Integration design and development with a focus on Azure Cloud Services or Oracle Cloud Integration Services.
  • Proficiency in Azure Cloud Services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Databases.
  • Strong programming skills in .NET, C#.
  • Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, and other web service protocols.
  • Expert knowledge of troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
  • Working technical knowledge of programming languages and relational databases.
  • Understanding on Oracle Cloud Integration is an asset.
  • Prior shipbuilding or heavy manufacturing experience is an asset.

The estimated salary for this position is $121,500 – $148,500. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity.
