They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced High-Rise Superintendent to join their growing team.Position Overview:
As the High-Rise Superintendent, you will oversee the construction and completion of high-rise projects, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with project specifications, timelines, and budget.Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:

• Lead and manage all phases of high-rise construction, from pre-construction through to project completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, implementing cost control measures as necessary.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and direct on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Foster a strong culture of safety, quality, and efficiency on site.
• Conduct regular meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment with project goals.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce industry-leading quality control standards.
• Conduct inspections to ensure all workmanship and materials meet project specifications.
• Address quality issues swiftly to maintain project integrity.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
• Lead safety meetings and training for on-site personnel.
• Monitor safety performance and ensure all risks are mitigated.

Communication:

• Maintain regular communication with project managers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Provide ongoing progress reports and resolve any construction-related issues or conflicts.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
• Manage all project-related paperwork and records efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-rise construction as a superintendent.
• Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Proven success in delivering high-rise projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Vancouver.
• OSHA certification and safety training are an asset.
