As an Avionics Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team using your troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while making safety a top priority. Ensure you meet the following requirements:Valid Transport Canada (E) Licence requiredMinimum 5-years’ experience and/or endorsed on Boeing 737 and/or 787 and/or Q400, or equivalent type of aircraft preferredProven technical aptitude and strong experience with electrical, navigation and flight controls requiredLegally entitled to work in Canada (must hold a Canadian Passport or Permanent Residency and/or open work permit with PR card in process)Radio Licence required within 6 months of employmentThe physical ability to lift 62lbs and sit, kneel and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to work in a variety of environmental conditions including temperature extremes, confined spaces, and working at heightsAbility to maintain a positive fit test to wear all safety and protective equipment including (but not limited to) respirator apparatusFlexibility to work shift work (evenings, overnights, weekend and holiday shifts) including overtime when necessaryMust be able to travel for situations where base coverage and/or rescue trips are requiredStrong computer knowledge and skills using various Maintenance programs and Microsoft Office ApplicationsSuccessful candidates will be required to meet the following conditions of employment:

• Technical Aviation diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution required

Obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) issued by Transport CanadaObtain and maintain Airside Vehicle Operators Permits (AVOP).
