Salary: $47.73 – $59.66 per hour (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)
Shifts: Weekdays, Monday – Friday
Status: Temporary Full-time (6 months contract)

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your talents as the sole Project Manager for the Division of Rheumatology within the Schroeder Arthritis Institute (SAI) leading division operations.The Project Manager will work directly with project leadership at SAI’s Division of Rheumatology to direct the program across multiple rheumatology sites across Ontario, and acts a the prime day-to-day liaison between program leadership, clinical teams, and program partners.Duties
- Create detailed project charters, plans and schedules in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders to maintain project scope, schedule, budget, accountabilities, risk, quality improvement opportunities, monitoring and controls, and post project audit/evaluation as part of a program roadmap
- Apply rigorous frameworks for project management, change management, and effective communication across the project lifecycle to manage schedule and milestones
- Use appropriate tools, anticipate and troubleshoot issues to minimize the project’s exposure to risk
- Conduct check-ins between all internal and external partners to ensure stakeholders are supported with day-to-day operations and are meeting program milestones and deliverable requirements
- Lead on-going status updates after check-ins to program leadership
- Develop and deliver progress reports by leveraging patient data generated from the program, synthesizing program stakeholder feedback, and creating required documentation, and presentations for program leadership teams, sponsors, and executive-level leaders
- Organize, schedule and manage meetings where required to share core program progress and general program oversight
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to communicate insights on program operation
- Drive business insight and demonstrate benefits of implemented initiatives to the organization by applying sound data analysis and adhering to existing program reporting standards and structures
- Coach and manage clinical and administrative teams across multiple program sites in Ontario and collaborating with internal and external program stakeholders to ensure adherence to protocol and agreed upon KPIs
- Act as primary point of contact at UHN for all program-related matters
- Prepare drafts of publications, abstracts, and manuscripts
- Manage and process amendments to the study protocol across all participating study sites
- Support the expansion of the program including onboarding of new sites; supporting local REB submissions; development of SOPs and/or other documents outlining patient, clinic and study flow
- Support other administrative tasks including communications, development of funding proposal etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years project management experience or equivalent, required
- Master’s Degree required in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience leading end-to-end health system projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of teams
- Strong analytical, prioritization, organization and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent is an asset
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems, interfaces, and/or enterprise architecture is an asset
- Experience extracting insights from data for decision making related to project management duties is an asset
- Experience working with online survey and research database tools such as REDCap is an asset
- Experience with referral workflows/systems and provincial projects is an asset
- Other certification (Lean/Six-Sigma Black Belt, ITIL, IIBA, Change Management) is an asset
- Supervisory or managerial experience, preferred
