• Understand, review and use electrical diagrams. Use AutoCAD for basic editing.
• Configure different protection relays (IED’s), automation & SCADA systems based on protection coordination studies and specifications.
• Conduct protection testing on relays in lab and on site, under supervision.
• Technical follow-up and support during engineering procurement
• Participate in progress meetings with customer and with Sub-suppliers
• Support continuous improvement efforts and participate in various process and documentation efforts.

What will you need to succeed?

• Candidate should be currently enrolled in their 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s program in Electrical Engineering
• Candidate MUST be bilingual who can read and write technical documentation in both French & English
• Decent understanding and real interest into Electric Power Systems (production, transmission, distribution)
• Able to stay focused when working remotely and self-performance monitoring ability
• Understands safety behaviors related to working in an electrical environment
• Strong learning drive. Does not rely on acquired skills only.
• Must be available from January 2025 – April 2025
