Your role will involve driving ongoing service enhancements, collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and clients to execute strategic initiatives, and contributing to the achievement of business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding and expertise in investment solutions and services.Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, addressing their inquiries and needs promptly and professionally.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s products and services to effectively articulate value propositions.
  • Pitch Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling pitch materials and presentations tailored to specific client needs and preferences.
  • Product Launch Execution: Collaborate on product launches by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics, track client engagement, and generate regular monthly and quarterly reports for internal management.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with BMO GAM teams, external partners, industry players, including institutional investors, family offices, and financial advisors.
  • Client Servicing: Provide exceptional client service throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to post-sale support and relationship management.
  • CRM Management: Responsible for the Team’s CRM process. Utilize available CRM systems effectively to track interactions, manage client data, and generate actionable insights for business development.
  • Feedback Implementation: Use client and investor feedback to drive product and service improvements, enhancing overall client satisfaction and retention.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all sales and investor relations activities.
  • Ethical Conduct: Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients, investors, and colleagues.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as legal, finance, and operations to streamline processes and enhance client experience.
  • Problem Solving: Address client inquiries, concerns, and challenges promptly and effectively, demonstrating a solutions-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field.
  • Progressing toward CFA designation or advanced business or financial analysis degree is preferred
  • 4-5 years of financial services sales experience
  • Strong understanding of private markets industry, financial products, investment strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Sound grasp of key concepts of portfolio management theory as well as the ability to analyze, interpret and communicate portfolio performance and investment characteristics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and industry partners.
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Proficiency in a foreign language such as French, Mandarin, Cantonese, etc. is a plus.

Working Conditions: Travel is required to meet client needs and support business development activities.Salary: $76,300.00 – $142,100.00Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
