Job Description: Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a Data Steward who is analytical, has strong attention to detail and a problem-solver, to join us in our Patient Experience team, based in our Canadian office in Oakville, Canada.About the role:The Data Steward role aims to perform various data analytics, financial modelling, reporting, as well as monitoring of Key Performance Indicators from various data sets that are relevant to the Immunology, Rare and Epilepsy Operations in Canada. This role will also help the Canadian organization build tools or leverage existing systems and tools to generate meaningful insights for future enhancements and effective decision making. There is a large emphasis on Patient Support Program Data, relevant Modelling and Analytics.Who you’ll work with:A Cross functional team such as Finance, Operational Excellence, Access, Pricing, Supply Chain, as well as the Operations teams for each of the Therapeutic areas.What you’ll do:
- Takes a key role in compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and generating meaningful insights from various sources (Patient Support Programs, IQVIA, Qliksense, Veeva CRM, SAP, etc.), as required for the Immunology, Rare and Epilepsy business units to help facilitate meaningful business decisions.
- Collaborate and work closely with the Patient Experience team to build strong controls and governance for monitoring of Key Performance Indicators as it relates to the operations of the program as well as acts as a business translator for the team to understand noise to signal and ensure accountability to program goals.
- Collaborate and work closely with the Insights-to-Impact team on critical Budget and Forecast assumptions as it relates to patient and market data to support the continuous Planning cycles.
- Collaborate and work closely with the Access, Pricing and External Engagement team to analyze data that is relevant for Patient Access related decision making.
- Collaborate with the Patient Support Programs‘ Data teams to ensure strong data quality and that an exhaustive and well-founded process is developed and implemented to allow for the capture of critical Real World Evidence data to support various internal and external needs.
- Develop, maintain and enhance dashboards and reports as needed, however also leverage internal reporting/BI tools such as Qliksense, Veeva, Power BI, etc.
- Be able to build business cases based on various scenarios impacted by data and assumption changes including data related to Patient Support Programs and other market and physician/customer data.
- Be a key member of various cross functional teams including launch readiness and excellence.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree life sciences, business, or healthcare related fields.
- 3+ years of advanced experience in Data Analytics, Insights Generation and Building complex models (patient models, market share models, etc).
- Experience with patient support program and market research data is critical.
- Experience in the Biologics, Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Experience in rare and/or specialty diseases will be considered an asset.
- Proven experience working and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams with cross-functional teamwork capabilities.
- Experience working in an environment to ensure compliance with various standards and policies is key.
- Solid experience with Microsoft products including advanced Excel skills is required.
- Experience with IQVIA data and CRM (Veeva) will be considered a huge asset.
- Experience with Qliksense, Power BI, SAP will be considered a huge asset.
- Talented communicator, who can proactively and positively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem solving skills with an ability to act proactively to ensure high quality outcomes.
