Title of the Job: Growth Marketing Manager

Job Description: S’more about the teamHelloFresh Canada is looking for an experienced customer acquisition professional to drive revenue growth through strategy, planning and activation across paid and non-paid channels. To be successful in this role, you will need a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to wear many hats at once. Reporting in the Director of Growth, this role will collaborate with our Acquisition, Analytics and Product Marketing teams to establish a high performing acquisition engine by identifying and scaling cost-effective customer acquisition campaigns. You will help develop the strategic plan, use analytics to inform decisions and drive execution to optimize a significant marketing budget against company goals.Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator, knows how to build and scale complex marketing campaigns across the purchase funnel, has worked with Product and Analytics Teams to drive growth, thrives in matrixed environments, and effectively executes cross-functionally to achieve results.Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for

  • Being a thought leader and expert in marketing, helping to define and implement our customer acquisition and overall growth strategies
  • Partnering with the North American online marketing team to deliver an ambitious growth in the Canadian market
  • Developing, recommending, and driving forward marketing campaigns across a variety of paid and organic channels – seamlessly delivering best in class execution that maximizes campaign impact
  • Maintaining and steering a substantial marketing budget
  • Taking a strategic approach to leading and optimizing channels to meet CAC, ROI, and budget goals.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing data-driven optimizations on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborating with teams spanning Customer Acquisition, Analytics, Product Marketing (Physical & Digital), Brand and Business Development functions
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders (i.e., Brand Strategy, Brand Creative) along with external partners to develop and implement a robust creative strategy.
  • Diving into key strategic marketing questions that generate actionable insight into how we can improve channel performance
  • Managing, supporting and mentoring 1-2 direct reports
  • All other duties, as assigned

  • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience with real and consistent results in a performance marketing role
  • Obsessed with growth marketing strategy but not afraid to get into the weeds
  • Innovative & Solutions oriented; keen to develop new ways of approaching complex problems and proactively seeking input from peers and leaders in problem-solving
  • Someone with outstanding organizational skills, project management skills, and a keen ability to ruthlessly prioritize
  • Data-driven. Advising and guiding based on data-driven metrics, track defined targets to measure team-level performance; lead a team through challenges in a calm and productive manner
  • Persistent and have a bias-to-action with a track record of performance
  • Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter who takes initiative
  • A marketing strategist and can derive insights from qualitative market trends, consumer feedback, and large data sets
  • A collaborative partner with a can-do, positive attitude that is solution-focused
  • Substantial experience working with performance marketing metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV)
  • A proven track record in scaling brands; robust playbook of available optimization and growth levers
  • Tactical experience working with specific digital and offline channels preferred (i.e. Display, Social, Search, Mobile / App and Affiliate, Inserts, Direct Mail, TV/OTT, Audio)
  • Proven background working with ecommerce and/or subscription business models is a plus
  • Project management experience and ability to see complex projects from beginning to end
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors and internal stakeholders outside of Marketing
  • Experience managing a team
