Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. This role is a unique opportunity for someone interested in the operational side of the investment business at an established and growing global investment manager. The intern within the Operational Projects Team will be responsible for working with the Team on documenting requirements, attending meetings, testing and other Project related activities.Is this role right for you?   • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader firm’s relationships, systems and knowledge.

  • Create, Update and maintain documentation – as required
  • Communicating with our business and project teams to define processes
  • Additional tasks may be assigned including but not limited to updating project plans, meeting minutes, etc
  • Understand how Scotiabank risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with the firm’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
