Job Description: We are seeking a supportive and experienced individual to work with a 12-year-old boy with autism, providing assistance with social skills, speech, and communication during social outings. The ideal candidate will be available to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, as well as every other weekend on either Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Responsibilities: Accompany and support the child during social outings, including walks, park visits, library trips, mall outings, and entertainment activities Assist with developing and improving social skills, speech, and communication Provide a safe and supportive environment for the child to explore and engage in activities Establish a positive and respectful relationship with the child and their family Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 4:30pm to 6:30pm Every other weekend: Saturday or Sunday afternoon (flexible) Location: Jane and Lawrence area Requirements: Experience working with children with autism or similar needs Ability to provide supportive and engaging interactions Reliable transportation (if applicable) Availability to commit to the scheduled hours
