Job Description: Job SummaryParticipates in and supports the operational activities of a business unit. Applies experience and complete working knowledge of the job and policies/practices to perform a combination of routine tasks and varied administrative/operational assignments.Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity where you will play an integral role in the financial and management reporting for Capital Markets (CM) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting to key stakeholders. Working closely with the CM performance management teams, you will also be assisting with developing forward looking and historical analysis for key business stakeholders, as well as producing analytical tools and initiatives to measure business performance.
Capital Markets generates over $9 Billion of revenue per year (or over ~$30 Million of revenue per day). The nature and size of the business require high frequency, accurate and relevant Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reporting and analysis.What will you do?
-Develop Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet analyses (forward looking and historical) through insightful and value-added commentary using macro and micro level datasets
-Assist with developing daily and weekly market commentary and compilation of key external and internal performance metrics for analytical purposes
-Develop, in conjunction with the Manager/Associate Director/Director, ad hoc analytical tools and initiatives, including automation of key processes and reporting mechanisms
-Be involved throughout month end and quarter end P&L close process, completing key analysis and reconciliations including liaising with key finance personnel globally
-Assist with Daily Financial Reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely daily results and commentary are provided to Senior Management, including reconciliations and investigations to provide support for results
-Participate in the production of various performance management packages for executive audiences including peer benchmarking analysisWhat do you need to succeed?

-Experience in PowerPoint presentation and/or presentation tools
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Strong analytical skills and ability to employ techniques in Microsoft Excel
-Motivated individual who can work under pressure in a high pressure, high reward environment
-Organizational skills and ability to prioritize activities
-Interest in obtaining a CPA or CFANice-to-have
-Exposure to Capital Markets products and businesses
-Experience in an accounting/finance and reporting environment
